| Project Management -
James Chemical Engineering has provided services to the chemical industry since
1962. Initially, JCE concentrated on ammonia manufacture, and this led directly
to work in urea, phosphates, nitrates, and sulfates. Over the years we have
expanded our expertise to other technologies such as methanol manufacture, coal
gasification, and pollution control systems for these processes.
Starting from a technical background, JCE has also expanded into the areas of assistance in project development and financing, project management and operating assistance. Project Development & Financing - The technical and feasibility studies required to develop a new project are closely related to the preparation of a financing plan, and we are often involved in all of these aspects. With our background in project development, we are in a position to help project sponsors in organizing a financial package including:
Project Management - JCE helps in process selection, prepares specifications for process plants, draws up invitations to bid, prequalifies bidders, analyzes and compares bids, and participates in contract negotiations. Project management continues when the client awards the general contract to the prime contractor. As consultant to the client, JCE then:
Since 1965 JCE has worked on "optimization" with over 30 clients on Ammonia, Urea and Phosphates. Our system brings plants up to maximum reliable operating capacity in minimum time at minimum cost. This system involves owner’s engineers in improving capacity, efficiency, reliability and effluent control. A brief critical path is shown here. For more information contact: |
