The
History of James Chemical Engineering - Established
in 1964 as an individual consultancy, the company progressed
through an intermediate stage as Chemical Engineering Associates
and in 1968 transitioned to James Chemical Engineering,
an engineering and consulting group to the fertilizer and heavy
chemical industries. In early 2002 JCE joined with Thielsch
Engineering to further expand on various capabilities. Since
its inception,
JCE has completed some three hundred projects in the chemical
industry, more than half of them in fertilizer manufacture.
JCE stands out among consulting organizations
in its proven competence and experience in all aspects, not
only
of
the technology
involved, but also of the economic appraisal and feasibility
analysis of projects in which natural resources are commercialized
to maximum benefit.
JCE has worked on the transportation, processing and commercialization
of local raw materials in over 30 countries. We are particularly
proud of our record and reputation as an action-oriented organization,
following up early planning, feasibility analysis, process
review and evaluation, and site and contractor selection with
implementation of the project and its efficient commercial
operation.
JCE has excellent relations with the engineering contracting
industry. We are entirely free of any
outside affiliations and are able to concentrate on providing entirely unbiased,
objective analysis of the various merits of competing processes, technologies,
procedures, organizations, suppliers, etc.
