Fertilizer Plants - James Chemical Engineering has a long history of working with Fertilizer Plants. Areas of specialty include Ammonia & Urea and Phosphate Fertilizers. Ammonia & Urea - James Chemical Engineering, Inc. has been involved in some fifty major ammonia and urea projects since 1964. These have ranged in size and scope from consulting roles with organizations like U.S. AID, the World Bank, and various private companies to project management for private and government-owned companies in Pakistan, New Zealand, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and many other countries. JCE has furnished these clients with continuous project management and engineering services from design review through startup supervision, optimization and debottlenecking. Phosphate Fertilizers - Demand for phosphate fertilizers has increased at almost seven percent per annum in Asia and Oceania over the last twenty years while demand in North America and Western Europe has remained relatively flat. The increase in phosphate fertilizer consumption in Asia has led to activity in many phosphate fertilizer projects. JCE has provided engineering services on a wide variety of phosphate fertilizer projects including DAP, MAP, TSP, Phosphoric Acid and mixed fertilizers.
