Corporate Information

The James Chemical Engineering (JCE) division provides a broad range of chemical process-related services, including process optimization for capacity, efficiency, reliability and safety, project management services, process design, preparation of invitations to bid, bid evaluations and negotiations with the general contractor in conjunction with plant ownership and accident investigation work.

James Chemical Engineering is called upon internationally by industry, governments and  financial institutions to provide technical, commercial and management assistance, and has successfully completed more than 300 projects in over 30 countries.

Significant experiences and services provided by the James Chemical Engineering Division include the following:

  • Project management services involving construction, schedule or quality monitoring or projects from start up to completion

  • Process design services including plant optimization

  • Assistance to prospective plant owners and/or existing owners planning to expand their facilities by the preparation of feasibility studies, pre-qualification of contractors, preparation on invitations to bid, reviews of bids and selection of contractors

  • Performance of accident prevention investigations and consultations.

James Chemical Engineering is particularly proud of its record as an action-oriented organization handling initial planning/feasibility analysis, process evaluation and selection, site selection, contractor selection, contract negotiation, monitoring of engineering design, procurement activities, construction, cost and schedule control.
